Trumpeter kit 01507
This kit depicts the very last war time Sd.Kfz.7 version with the wooden cab and body built on the m11 chassis. Due to the kit's engineering these 8 tons variants can be frustrating to build. The build sequencing also doesn't help fitment of both small and fragile parts in places, but alternative construction steps can be taken as a work around.
The only additions are a Quick wheel resin front wheel set and the headlights have been replaced with the small 'later' style. The overall look of the cargo tilt has been improved with VMS paper and shaper and intigrated into the kit's moulding. It was painted with MRP lacquer paints and weathered with MIG enamels and Abtielung oils.
