Larger kit sprockets ready for primer with large kit PE step ring and 0.7mm bolt heads added to replicate those visible to retain the track pads. Observe how the re-worked track rollers are now repositioned against the track pad to accommodate track fitment and now represent a left- and right-handed sprocket.
The design of the kit allows for a moveable steering angle of the front wheels. Unfortunately, the engineering is sloppy. The front axle kingpins trap the hub parts allowing for movement, but the wheel hubs are left very loose. Having the option to modify the steering angle is always a nice feature, but in reality, to have it completely rotatable in this kit, you would also need to drill and pin the remaining steering linkages too. It is far simpler to choose the steering angle preferred and simply fix it all in place.
I'm still searching for a suitable alternative to the kit's rubber tyres and whilst I do have the resin solid tyred wheels it would be nice to be able to have a resin or 3D printed pneumatic tyred set too.
